OOTD-Winter 2016

Hey guys! I hope you are having a great day! For me, this has been the best winter by far. It’s been pretty warm which makes me extremely happy because I cannot stand the cold! Today I have an ootd that I love to wear during the Fall and on the warm Winter days. I love wearing cargo pants during the winter because they are loose fitting so you can layer underneath and be warm even if it just looks like a loose and breezy pair of pants. I paired them with a cropped grey sweater and my leather jacket. The outfit details are below!

OOTD: Cute Winter Outfit

The temperature has officially been under 0 for several days now so I wanted to share one of favorite warm outfits with you guys! It’s a great outfit for a day at the mall or a stroll through the city. Also, you may notice that I rolled my jeans up and honestly I only did that because those jeans are a little short but since it is winter, tucking your jeans into your boots is a great idea!

Fall OOTD

Today I have several pictures that I took  a few weeks ago, in one of my favorite Fall outfits! I actually saw an outfit really similar to this on an ad  in American Eagle and I really loved how the soft pink/beige jeans looked with a chambray shirt so I decided to recreate the outfit, with a few changes of course;) I hope you  like it! Details below.

How to Turn a Day Outfit into an Evening Outfit/ OOTD

Have you ever had a day where you had plans to hang out with people all day- from day to night? For example, first you went shopping and then had plans to go for drinks at night with the same person, and didn’t have enough time to change from your shopping outfit to an evening outfit? Well a few days ago I had a similar experience so I had to think of a way to go from a casual day outfit to a night outfit without going home to change or bring a whole other outfit along with me. I came up with a simple recipe that I will always follow if I come into a situation like this.

The Day Outfit:

For the day outfit I chose a pretty blouse that could be dressed up or down, and wore my favorite pair of wedges that can also be dressed up or down depending the situation. Since the blouse and shoes were more formal than what I would normally wear, I dressed the outfit down by pairing them with simple white denim shorts. I kept the jewelry pretty simple with a watch and a big gold necklace, although if you want an even more casual look, I suggest you take off the necklace.

Recipe: Pretty blouse+ denim shorts + wedges + simple jewelry =A day outfit that can be transformed in a night outfit in one step!

The Night Outfit:

As you can see, all I did was put on a skin tight black skirt. This skirt was easily foldable so I just stuffed it into my purse and put it on when the time came! The skirt made the outfit look far more formal and “nightly” then the shorts did, especially since it was skin tight.

Recipe: Pretty blouse + skin tight skirt + black heels + lots of bold jewelry =  Night Outfit!

Ootd: How to Style a Romper

During the last few weeks of summer I always like to wear my most beachy/summery outfits on a daily basis just because that is my way of coping with the fact that for the next six-eight months I’ll be freezing my ass off and will be dreaming of the days when I was at the beach. So here one of my favorite summer outfits for going to the beach one last time, having a picnic, or simply going for a walk! And plus it’s a romper, I mean who hasn’t been loving rompers lately! They’re as easy to slip on as a dress and are soo comfortable, yet they look great! If you’re a fan of floppy hats, cute oversized bags, and rompers then I’m sure you’ll love this outfit, hope you enjoy 🙂

First Day of School Outfit

   Unfortunately summer has come to an end, which means school is starting again ( or for some already has started). I wanted to make a quick post to share my outfit for the first day of school which is really easy to replicate and can probably be found in your closet! I like this outfit because u find cute, comfy, and casual which is what I look for when picking out an outfit for school so if you did start school already the outfit is casual enough to be worn on any day. Casual Evening Outfit + Dresslink review

Today I wanted to share an outfit that I thought would be really cute for a casual night with friends. Its really easy to recreate this outfit because all you need is an elegant black shirt, black heels, and printed bottoms. The printed bottoms add some color and break up the blackness from the shoes and shirt- it adds a touch of playfulness! The exact details for the outfit will be listed below along with a review of a website called Dresslink, from which I made a wishlist post a few weeks ago.

Dresslink is a webiste that sells just about everything! Clothes, accessories, home, you name it, they have it, and all at such great prices. Click here for more info about the website. If you read the wishlist, you may remember that I was a bit skeptic about the quality of the clothes because the prices were so low. Well I was nicely surprised when I got the items and they were all fairly nice material. I mean, they obviously weren’t silk or anything, but the materials were soft and weren’t itchy at all. Another of my concern was the sizing, the sizes were asian sizes so you had to be really careful when ordering. Luckily all the items I bought fit me perfectly, so if you measure correctly, the sizing is quite accurate. Also, the items arrived in only 2 and a half weeks even though I was expecting it to take 3 or more, so that was a bonus as well! In the pictures above, the watch and shirt were both from dresslink and both were under $6! Look out for one my next posts witch will feature two more items from dresslink!

Overall I give this website 4/5 stars. The quality is much better than the price, all the items looked the same as in their pictures so there weren’t any surprises there, and all the items fit well. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was simply because shipping takes quite long, it did arrive sooner than expected but still it took some time. I strongly recommend this website if you’re on a budget but are a shopaholic (like myself), because this website has some seriously cute stuff for a great price!

5 essential tops

Hey everyone! Today’s post is about the 5 tops that are must-haves in your closet. They’re versatile, comfortable, and most importantly look good simple. In other words we’re back to basics!

1. The black or white t-shirt:

Everyone needs to have a plain short sleeve tee, whether its a v-neck or scoop neck. As long as it’s a solid color and form fitting, its a must-have! You can dress it up by wearing a colorful scarf or putting on lot’s of jewelry. Or you can wear it really casually by just tucking it into your jeans or shorts.

2. Halter top:

Halter tops are extremely sexy and add a variety to your wardrobe! You can dress them up or down like the plain t-shirt above but it adds a different level of “chicness.” Also, many halter tops have beautiful patterns like the on in this picture (found on dollskill.com) and adds more interest in your outfit.

3. Long-sleeve:
The long sleeve is practically the same as the short sleeve tee but made for colder days.

4. The Undershirt:  I actually have a whole post where I discuss undershirts, if you’d like to check it out click here. Trust me they are amazing! And probably the most valuable out of any of these other basics.

5. The blouse:

Blouses are my favorite things to wear when I’m going to a fancy event but am still going for a casual look. A statement necklace and blouse work magic when paired together! The ultimate for casual elegance.

Outfit Ideas for Easter

Hey everyone! Hope your having a great Monday (who am I kidding, Mondays suck ;)) Eater is coming up very soon, so as the second part of my three part Easter series I’ve put together 4 different outfits that would be ideal for spring. The posts that are in the Easter series are: Hair for Easter (came out already), Outfits for Easter ( this one), and Nails for Easter (coming out this friday). Hopefully these posts will prep you for Easter so that you can look as great as you’ll feel that day!

Spring set #1 by osovogue featuring stud earrings

This fist outfit is very casual but chic. I think that white jeans are perfect for Easter and the yellow top and blue accents scream spring! For this outfit you don’t necessarily have to use a yellow top and blue accessories. For example, instead of yellow, you can wear a pale pink top with yellow accessories. Any Easter/ spring combination would look great paired with white jeans.

I think that any white dress accessorized with turquoise accessories is so romantic and festive looking! If you are planning a romantic date with a special someone, i suggest this outfit for you 🙂

This outfit mostly describes my style, I love the way fitted boyfriend jeans look with heels, along with a chic top and super cute accessories, this is my ideal outfit! The gold and pink look amazing and add a touch of elegance to the entire outfit.

This outfit is super cute! It is the girliest and flirtiest of them all! The white accessories really keep this outfit from looking too pink, if you decide to wear an outfit that has lot’s of one color (like pink in this case), I strongly suggest you add some white jewelry to balance it all out!
