Happy New Years everyone! I hope everyone had a great time whether they went out, spent it with friends and family, or decided to stay alone! As always, with a new year come new promises and new resolutions. I don’t even remember my resolutions from last year but I’m pretty sure I didn’t fulfill them, whoops! Which is why this year I have decided to only come up with three but I am going to make sure to go through with these!
- No surprise here but my first resolution is to get fit! I’m pretty sure I said this last year too and I kind of did keep to my word. My fitness journey started exactly one year ago and its been a long journey with not too much success. This is because I would have times when I’m super consistent and managed to go to the gym 4+ times a week and then other times when I would not go for several weeks at a time. I believe that I have finally come up with the perfect workout routine and if I can manage to go to the gym 4 times a week every week I am positive I can have a “goals” body in no time! With that being said, it is much easier to write about it then to actually drag my ass to the gym that often! Also my eating habits are horrible so I have to clean that up too.
- My second resolution is to restart my blog and work harder than ever before! This winter break alone I’ve done more work for the blog than in the past year! I’m also going to start a kick-ass insta so say good-bye to the one I have now because in a matter of days its should look completely different, can’t wait to show you I’m so excited!
- My last resolution is going to be the hardest one… I want to learn to not stress so much about little things. I have a tendency to stress out over many little things and its causing a lot of unneeded stress in my life. So this year I am going to try to be more chill and not get so affected by small things which aren’t worth my worrying.
Are you guys excited for New Years?! I know I am, even though I still don’t have any plans haha. But for those of you planning to go to a New Years party and need a last min outfit, here are some ideas!
Right from your closet:
This outfit isn’t as glamorous and sparkly as some may want when going out for New Years but I personally love this outfit! It is an especially great outfit if you are planning to go to a family or close friends party (not clubbing or a crazy rave party).
As you can see this is a great last minute party outfit. It is a black bodycon sweater dress which contours the body amazingly because it is a thick material so it doesn’t make you look too tight or show anything you don’t want to be seen but at the same time it highlights your curves. Also the high neck gives you an appearance of really big boobs even if you are flat chested! Just add on some jewelry ( I went with a gold layered necklace and gold statement watch) and pair it with any shoes. I chose chunky black booties to add some edge but virtually any pair of shoes will go well with this outfit. I didn’t have a fur coat, but if you do this would the perfect outfit to pair it with, so for extra spumf add some fur!
This outfit is also relatively simple. The statement piece is the suede dress with a cute gold choker. I added on a bunch of other matching jewelry and a leather jacket and cut out shoes. Lastly, I added a YSL clutch with gold detailing to tie in the black and gold. Here I had a black, gold, and burgundy color scheme but if you have a different suede dress just start from there and accessorize as you wish!
Of course I needed one outfit with sparkles! As you can see I start each outfit with a statement piece and then I build from there. Since a sparkly skirt is really out there I tried toning the outfit down with other neutral color and little jewelry but prominent makeup.
Here are few more polyvore sets I made in the past:
Hope you liked this and I hope you have a Great New Year!
Hey guys! I just got back from Quebec where I had a great skiing vacation (post on that coming up)! I realize that the skiing season is over but I wanted to share what I wore while skiing! Also, sorry for the horrible quality, I was always rushed and had to take the pictures with my phone
Unfortunately I’m writing this post too late so I’m not going to go in detail about what you need to stay warm while skiing. But to sum it up, you need:
- dry fit leggings
- dry fit tops ( I prefer long sleeves)
- a fleece sweater
- ski socks
The four things above are the bare minimum you need, for skiing you need many other items (snow pants, mits, balaclavas) but I will cover that in the beginning of next winter!

Hey guys! Today is the last day before march break and I’m so excited! I’m going skiing in a cute town in Quebec, so be expecting some really nice pictures next week! As for today, I have a some pictures of an outfit I wear really often. It’s a really casual and cozy outfit so it’s great for an everyday look. The outfit details are below!
Hey guys! I hope you are having a great day! For me, this has been the best winter by far. It’s been pretty warm which makes me extremely happy because I cannot stand the cold! Today I have an ootd that I love to wear during the Fall and on the warm Winter days. I love wearing cargo pants during the winter because they are loose fitting so you can layer underneath and be warm even if it just looks like a loose and breezy pair of pants. I paired them with a cropped grey sweater and my leather jacket. The outfit details are below!
Shoes: Call It Spring ||| Jacket: Vera Moda ||| Sweater: Bluenotes ||| Cargo pants: Sanctuary ||| Gloves: Winners ||| Necklace: Juicy Couture
The temperature has officially been under 0 for several days now so I wanted to share one of favorite warm outfits with you guys! It’s a great outfit for a day at the mall or a stroll through the city. Also, you may notice that I rolled my jeans up and honestly I only did that because those jeans are a little short but since it is winter, tucking your jeans into your boots is a great idea! Today I have several pictures that I took a few weeks ago, in one of my favorite Fall outfits! I actually saw an outfit really similar to this on an ad in American Eagle and I really loved how the soft pink/beige jeans looked with a chambray shirt so I decided to recreate the outfit, with a few changes of course;) I hope you like it! Details below.
Jeans: American Eagle|||Chambray Shirt:Levi’s|||Tank top: Gift (any flowy cream tank top would work with this outfit)||| Shoes: Market in Greece (similar here)
It would be great if you guys could let me know if you like my pictures displayed like this, or larger and individually like my ootd posts are usually. I really appreciate all the comments and feedback 🙂
