Affordable skincare routine for all face types
Hi friends!
I’ve struggled with acne and dry skin for years! Some may think that dry skin is more fortunate than oily but with dry skin, it is actually much more complicated to get rid of acne. This is because most acne products work by drying out the skin and pores to get rid of the stuff inside it but when you do that to dry skin you only make your face flake and it gets a gross dry texture!
So I think I’ve found a series of skincare products that will work for most skincare types, from oily to dry. It is the Clean & Clear 3 Step Advantage Acne Control Kit.
I’d just like to state now that this is by no means sponsored, one of my friends that had really bad acne cleared her face up with this product and she it to me. It worked for me too so I just wanted to share this product so that it’ll hopefully help some of you guys too!
I like the three-step method because the cleanser is really great for cleaning the skin but it isn’t tough on the skin. It is extremely smooth on the skin and not too drying. Then you follow it up with the spot treatment. Now, this is very drying which is why you follow it up with the moisturizer. The moisturizer is hands down my favorite product of the three. It is so light that it feels like you haven’t applied anything. It also doesn’t have any distinguishable scent so it is perfect for sensitive skin. It drys relatively quickly so that you can apply makeup afterward if you wish and leaves face feeling fresh and moisturized!
Let me know if this product works for you too! Or if you’ve used it in the past and what are your thoughts on it?

Fall Vibes Part 1
Hey guys!
Lately, I have been in the best mood! Which is strange for me to say because I have been more stressed than ever trying to balance, school, a job, and the gym 4-5x a week! I think its because here in Toronto we are having the best Fall I have ever experienced. It is the perfect weather, and I am enjoying spending my days sipping pumpkin spice lattes in large oversized sweaters! Not to mention I’m super happy that I somehow managed to avoid getting sick despite everyone around me being. Anyhow, I took these pictures during the Thanksgiving weekend, hope you like the outfit!
Hope you liked this fall inspired look! Comment if you would like to know where some of the pieces are from!

Transitioning Seasons Outfit Fall OOTD
Hey guys,
I’ve talked before about how I love summer fashion, so I try to incorporate some of my favorite summer clothes in my Fall outfits too. It was an oddly beautiful day in Toronto so I decided to go have a stroll downtown. Side note: I also wore this outfit to puppy lessons right before going downtown (the puppies are soo cute!). I find this outfit very earthy and natural, perfect for a casual day like the one I had.
The sandals I’m wearing are also really comfortable because they have a thick cushion on the sole, so they were fairly comfortable for all day walking (despite some blisters at the end of the day). The outfit details are below and don’t be afraid to comment if you have any other questions or would like to know some of the makeup products I used 🙂

Cute Thanksgiving Outfit
Hey guys,
Is it just me or do you also feel like Thanksgiving just came out of nowhere! I can’t believe its already October, time flies… Not to complain, I mean pumpkin pie is one of my favorite desserts of all time and pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks are my weak spot! So I wanted to create a seasonal look for a family dinner or whatever it is you may do for Thanksgiving. I’m going to a cottage with my family and some family friends, what about you?
Hope you liked the outfit and that you have a great Thanksgiving!

Fall Lifestyle Wishlist ft. UncommonGoods
You know those times when you go to a store intending to get just one item, but then you end up with a cart full of things! Well be warned, that is exactly what happened to me when I went on this website! I don’t know about you guys but personally I love cute decor and uncommon little things that you don’t even know you need until you see them!
This website is full of quirky, creative, and as the name states uncommon goods! Not only do they have some of the best gift options for women, men, and children alike, they are also very environmentally friendly. They have never sold anything made of leather, feathers or fur and try to include many products made out of recyclable materials. Another cool initiative that they offer is their Better To Give program, where at checkout you can choose a not-for profit to receive a $1 donation from Uncommongoods.
Here are a few things that are on my wish list!
Tea Drop Sampler
I started seeing these tea drops pop up occasionally on my feed around a few months ago and always thought they were so cool! Personally, I love tea! I drink it every single morning during the winter days so I would really love to try this out. The sampler set includes 5 drops each of: citrus ginger, vanilla white, rose earl grey, sweet peppermint, and matcha green tea. Tea is literally one of the easiest things to prepare but they managed to make it even easier! These drops simply dissolve in your water and you’re left with a perfect cup of tea.
On the Go Coffee Press
I heard about this brilliant invention just last weekend when I was at a university fair and somebody started bragging about how one of their students thought of this great idea! For all you coffee lovers, I think it is self explanatory why I want this!
Amazonite Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelet
I fell in love with this bracelet the second I saw it in the beauty and wellness section of the site. At first I was confused as to why a bracelet would be in that section but then I read about the product and it all made sense. It turns out that not only is this a really pretty piece of jewelry but it is also a diffuser that you can carry around with you all day long! By putting incense on the porous lava rocks, it will act as a diffuser throughout the day. I thought this was really neat and is probably number 1 on my wishlist!
Pocket Tin Speaker
My beats pill is on its last string and is about to completely die on me at any moment so t this speaker would really come in handy. It’s also great for taking on the go as it is only the size of a packet of mints, so its really portable which is uncommon for most speakers.
Solar System Bath Bomb Set
Who doesn’t love bath bombs?! I thought this was an extremely cute gift idea for basically any girl. It is a 9 piece set (8 planets and the sun) and handmade.
These are only some of the cool items I found but there are hundreds more! So if you are ever unsure of what to get someone for a gift or are looking to treat yourself, I would highly recommend Uncommon Goods!
Uncommon Goods has kindly sponsored this post but all opinions and thoughts are 100% honest. I am so happy to have come across this website and can assure you that I will be visiting it regularly, especially around Christmas time!

How to Transition from Summer to Fall
I hate to say it, but summer is coming to an end very quickly. It makes me devastated because it is my favorite season for so many different reasons; it is also my favorite season for fashion! With that being said, I like to transition my summer wardrobe to the Fall slowly, trying to incorporate my favorite summer pieces while making my outfits warmer.
First off, light cardigans are your best friend! Not only do they add an extra layer to keep you warm but they also serve as a cute addition to your outfit! I suggest going for a light fabric or you can wear a cool knitted sweater with cutouts. These types of cardigans are warm enough for the fall weather but are still light enough to wear all day.
Of course, as it gets closer to winter it gets colder so that even the cardigans above aren’t enough. This is when you start layering with thicker cardigans, cute fall jackets, or both! I like wearing my favorite summer tanks under a cute jacket for a complete fall transitioning look 🙂
Another tip is to simply switch up your shoes or runners instead of sandals, personally I don’t wear sandals often so this is really easy for me!
For me, the idea of squeezing into jeans after months of shorts and skirts is unbearable so I like to ease myself into my skinny jeans by wearing looser forms of pants first, such as cargo pants and boyfriend jeans. I’ll also be wearing jeans for the following 6 months once it gets colder so I’m not in a particular hurry to bring them back to my wardrobe.
Hope you guys found this post helpful!
