Fall Runway Trends That You Can Dostyle

One of my most successful posts to this day is my Five Runway Trends To Incorporate Into Your Outfits post, which is why I decided to make another similar post to that one. Today’s post will be all about the fall trends seen on the runway that aren’t too extravagant yet are very chic so that you can start incorporating them into your outfits and start feeling more like a model everyday!

Gloves all day everyday

Elegant long gloves have always had a certain classy attribute to them, in movies the rich women always wore them, or at balls (think of Disney princesses). I personally am so happy that they are a trend because my hands are always freezing cold, so I’m gonna have lots of fun with this trend!

All grey

Grey is the color of the season for business apparel and suits, this is probably great for most people because who doesn’t own grey clothes. And now instead of thinking you look bland in all grey you actually are quite trendy. Although personally I still think its a bit bland, so I suggest pairing it with some other fall color such as burgundy, burgundy and grey are one of my favorite fall combinations.

Way up high

High waists have become very trendy this past year; high waisted jeans, skirts, and even swimsuits, just about every bottom has a high waisted option. Well now designers have decided to go even higher up – above your belly button! I don’t know how comfortable this will be but it sure will suck everything in!

Where are your hands!?

Another trend that has been all over runways is sleeves that go way past your hands. I love this trend because when I’m cold I tend to pull my sleeves all the way over my hands and then hold them down with my thumb, I actually made some holes in my jackets by doing this-whoops! Now my sleeves will always be extra long so I wont have to make anymore holes in my jackets 🙂

Red Plaid

Yes plaid (especially red)  is still in style, the simplicity of it makes it so hard for us to let go! Lumberjack style continues- YES!

So many sparkles

No more simple jewelry, now we are talking sparkly, chunky, and girly! Dig out some of your old jewelry that you thought would never be back in style, because now it is!

I am in love with all these trends because they are not only really chic but are also comfortable and warm! I love that designers actually thought about the fact that it is Fall and is getting colder! What do you think about these trends, don’t be afraid to comment!

Spring Trends 2015 (hair, makeup, nails, fashion)

I’m so happy to be able to finally put my winter coat away! The birds are chirping and the sun is up when I wake up and stays up until late in the evening. Spring personally lifts my spirits up so  much! I couldn’t wait to write this post, because as I’m sure all beauty and fashion bloggers know, as a new season rolls in, so do new trends! I’d like to give creds to http://www.harpersbazaar.com as all the pictures in this post are from there and I got most of my ideas from there as well!

Fashion:

  Overalls:

Overalls are brought back once again! Overalls are super cute and really easy to style. You can wear anything under, throw any jacket or sweater on, and pair it with virtually any shoes (sneakers, sandals, heels, boots)! Now that I think about it, overalls are definite closet must-have.

Ponchos  and capes:

Since there were so many blanket coats on the runway during Fall 2014, I was pretty sure that ponchos and capes would catch on and that soon the streets would be swarming with people wearing them.

 All Red Outfits:

Red has always been a classic but never quite to this extent, all red outfits are more and more common. So if you are daring enough, I dare you to try it one day.

Shirt dresses:

Shirt dresses have caught on because they are so versatile and can be dressed up or down so easily. They also look very cure and are very form flattering. They manage to make everyone appear slimmer than they actually are.

Make-up

Flaming lips:

This lip look was all over the runways and is so easy to recreate! To do it yourself, simply apply your lipstick the way you normally would except do not go over the edges. Using a make-up blender (or a tissue or blending brush) simply blend the lipstick out to the ends of your lips. It creates a very sexy yet soft look.

 Brown Eyes:

All shades of brown eyeshadow are in this season, it gives a soft touch to any every day look.

Purple Eyeshadow:

Like brown eyeshadow, purple is getting more and more attention. Purple is a great color to really make your eyes pop without it being too much.  

A Pop of Color:

Instead of just using the traditional black eyeliner, make-up artists have found a way of using black eyeliner and adding a pop of color. They would put eyeliner on as they normally would, and then incorporate a bright color somewhere, as you can see in the photo above, it’s in the water line and inner eye. This pop of color adds so much more interest to the eye, I really reccomend you try it! And if you are feeling extra daring today, you can use different textures, i.e. strips of leather, satin stickers and swipes of lipstick in place of traditional eyeliner as many make-up artists do.

I Woke Up Like This:

Opposite to the other trends which were all about color, this one is as natural as possible. All you need to achieve this look is a fresh, clean, and healthy face.

Hair

Loose waves:

Barely-there waves are so great for so many occasions. You can create them by curling your hair with a big barrel and combing through your hair. Or if you feel really lazy, when your hair is damp, you can put it up in a bun and sleep on it. When you wake up in the morning, you should have soft waves that were achieved in no – time!

Long Ponytails:

Even though lately everyone seems to be cutting their hair hair short, it seems that that trend has already ended (Ha! I predicted that here). Long elegant ponytails are starting to pop up everywhere!

Hair Accessories:

Add some clips, bows, headbands, anything really to add interest to your hair. Experimant with all types of colors and textures to create unique looks.  Sometimes, hair can get quite boring so why not spice it up by adding a hair accessory?

Nails

White:

Honestly I don’t like white nail polish but lately everyone has been rocking it, so why not give it a go?

Red:

Obviously, red is a very popular color now. With red lips and even whole red outits being styled, I think everyone could have predicted that red nail polish was going to be big too. Thankfully, this season’s nail designs aren’t too intricate and can easily be painted at home! So that’s it! I hope you liked reading this post as much as I enjoy writing it!

Five 2015 Runway trends that can be incorporated in your daily outfits to look like a model anyday.

Loving this dress!

So who doesn’t want to look like a model? Or at least dress like one? I think all of us do, which is why I found 5 trends that are on the runway now that you can rock on a daily basis without effort. For most of these trends you will already have the needed items in your closet, guaranteed!

1) Bare Shoulders: I especially love this trend because it is great for flat chested people (like myself) to expose skin and feel very sexy. Unlike exposing the chest area (where some may have an advantage over some others) , everyone has shoulders! It’s also a great way of being elegant and sexy, when exposing skin many people look trashy, but with the shoulder you’ll always look elegant. So come on, whether it’s off-the shoulder, one-shoulder or any other variation, let’s show some shoulders! 2) Daring animal prints: I’m not talking about cheetah or leopard prints, I’m talking peacocks, jelly-fish, scorpions, and pretty much any other random animal that has a cool print. This is a great way to step out of your comfort zone while still being subtle. If you already wear cheetah prints all the time, changing up the print will be refreshing!

3) High Neck-line: I really feel like designers are starting to make their designs more and more for flat chested people! I love high-neck lines as they are great for flat chested people and I love styling them with necklaces! I feel like it’s a clean sheet of paper where I can put any necklace I want and not have to worry about the neckline! You”ll find a shirt with a high neckline in your closet for sure so go find it and head out with the confidence of a model!

4) Safari: I feel like this trend has been slowly growing and growing ( starting with cargo pants) and now it’s at its’ peak. I’m glad because I’m loving the faded out colors and love that cargo pants are going to stay for a while longer.

5) Bold stripes: Go to your closet right now and find a top with stripes! Seriously, stripes (especially bold stripes) are all over the runway! Stripes are great for casual looks, so let’s bring on the stripes!

The middle look is especially easy to re-create 🙂
