Hey guys, I decided to make an updated 5 essential tops post! My last one got really great reviews so I hope you enjoy this one as well!
Firstly I believe that everyone needs a plain tank top. Simply because they are great for layering. You can wear them under sweater or see through shirts, but you can also just wear them and then throw a scarf on for a casual outfit.

Flannels are probably the most sold shirt ever. Everywhere you look, there are flannels. They add a pop of color to any casual outfit and that is why i think they are an essential.

A plain t-shirt or a striped one like the one in the picture above is definitely a closet essential because it can be styled in so many ways. They can be tucked into skirts, jeans, shorts, or worn loosly. They are also amazing for layering as most of these items are.
I added in this 3/4 baseball tee because I love throwing it on with a pair of jeans and shorts for a simple but cute outfit.
