Infinity Dreams Award

My questions:

1) What is your favorite makeup look you’ve created? (add picture or link to post)

I actually haven’t posted a makeup look tutorial yet but one will be coming up so make sure to check back soon!

2) What products do you use to clean off your makeup?

Lately ive been loving the maybelline makeup remover. For info on that and other makeup removers I’ve been using lately clip here.

3) Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging so that I could have a space where I can write about anything I want, but mostly about my opinion on beauty and fashion related things. i love the blogesphere and how nice and engaging everyone is! Reading just one comment from someone that enjoyed my post always makes my day!

4) If you could only wear one of these products. Which one would you pick? Foundation, lipstick OR eyeliner. Why?

I choose foundation without a doubt! I need foundation to cover up blemishes and even up my skin tone! With only foundation I could rock the “natural face” look (which I usually do on a daily basis :))

5) Which hair shampoo would you definitely recommend and why?

I definitely recommend the Tresemme sea salt extract perfectly undone waves shampoo. It smells so good, is silicon free, and r4eeally makes your hair feel weightless.

6) What piece of advice would you give to your past self?

To worry less about results and to get out of my comfort zone.

Liebster Award (I nominate you!)

Today I have another award video, it is the Liebster Award!!! Although I do have more than 1000 followers (There is a giveaway) which is against the Liebster rules, I still got nominated by two amazing bloggers; Rosalyn and Penny. What is your favorite season of the year?

I honestly find this question very hard to answer. I usually say winter because that is the season I’m born in and I love snow but lately, I’ve started hating it because it’s so cold! I love summer because of every aspect except for one little thing, bees! I am terrified of bees, I cannot stand them, they usually ruin a perfectly good and sunny day for me. So I guess the answer to this question would be summer (without bees)

What is your favorite drugstore beauty product?

Lately, I’ve been loving meybelline color tattoo eye shadows. They are so pigmented and come in a variety of beautiful colors!

Do you have pets?

At the moment I only have a gecko named Lizzie, but I used to have many more before. If you are interested, I talk more about these pets in my other award posts.

What is your favorite subject in school?

This may come as a surprise to some, but I love Science! I find most science subjects very interesting, I like understanding how things work and what they are made of. Although I hate physics, it bores me to death! I like biology a lot and have thought about going to med school a lot but decided not to because of the really long work hours.

What made you start blogging?

Honestly, I didn’t give it as much thought as some other bloggers. One of my friends was showing me her blog on tumblr and I thought it was cool, so I decided to give it a try as well! I ended up loving the blogisphere and positive community and people so I kept posting.

 Where is one place that you would definitely love to travel to in the world?

I’ve been to many places around the world but strangely enough I’ve never been to Paris. Since I’ve been learning french for over 4 years now, I would love to go to advance my speaking skills and see the charm of Paris for myself.

 What is your biggest fear?

Other than getting kidnapped and tortured… I think one of my great fears is the fear to not succeed. I lost many opportunities because I wasn’t sure of myself. Which is why now I try to push myself to try new things and seize any opportunity.

Do you have any secret talents? 

Honestly, no. I’m sad to admit but I don’t have any secret talents unless being double jointed and being able to do weird things with my arms counts…

 Describe your blog in three words.

Creative, Helpful, and New.

 Name two goals that you have for this year. 
One thing that I have been telling myself to do the past few years and hopefully will finally do this year, is to get fit and start running! I’m sure I’m not the only one that has this goal 😉 My second goal is to really up my photography game. I’m going to take some classes to hopefully learn how to take better pictures for the blog.

Creative Blogger Award

Hey guys, are you having a great Easter Monday? I’m spending mine renovating my house, what a relaxing way to spend Easter Monday, isn’t it? As you can probably tell, today’s post is about The Creative Blogger Award! I was nominated by Ryane, who is a really awesome and informative blog about all things beauty! Facts:

1.When I was vacationing in Greece a few years ago, my family and I got robbed while we were there. They came into our room while we were sleeping and snatched my moms purse. Not only did they get most of our money, but our passports too. Forcing us to travel around Greece (with hardly any money) to get to the Canadian Embassy. But not to worry it all worked out for the best! If you want to read more about that experience you can click here.

2. For three years I had my own jewelry business where I made earrings, bracelets, and necklaces and sold them at a variety of craft sales. Unfortunately, my creative spark for jewelry faded and I have stopped creating new items (although I still have quite a few items that I haven’t sold).

3. I’ve owned over 30 animals. Oddly enough, I’ve never had the “usual house pet” i.e. dogs or cats because I always lived with someone that was either allergic or didn’t want one. I did however have two lizards, a gecko, three frogs, and around 30 fish. Currently, I only have a gecko, and guess what his name is? Lizzie!

4. When people first see me they think that I’m Latino, lot’s of people think I’m Spanish but most think I’m Mexican. Some people have also thought I was Asian (Indian, mostly), when in fact I’m Serbian. Serbia is a small European country, where not to offend anyone but the people there are really white! Both of my parents are Serbian and my mom is as pale as people come but somehow I ended up with dark brown hair and eyes, and yellowish brown (it’s hard to describe my color, lol) skin! It’s funny how genetics work. I often get called, “authentic or exotic.” Some people wonder why I’m not offended by always being called different things but honestly I like it! I’m not sure why but it makes me feel special and different from everyone else (which I guess I am).

5. Since the last fact was really long I’ll make this one short, and frankly I’ve run out of interesting facts. So the last fact about me is that writing a book is on my bucket-list. I have a few ideas about what but nothing concrete, and I don’t know when I’ll find the time to start writing it, but I hope I’ll manage!

1. I have a younger brother (that annoys the hell out of me, but then again whose siblings don’t?).

2. I had three pet frogs in the past and all of them escaped from their tanks and disappered…. I think that one day when we are cleaning our vents, we’ll find a few dead frog bodies…

3. Currently, i have a pet lizard which I am trying to sell. His name is Lizzie.

4. I had a jewelery business for a few years.

5. My passport was stolen from me while I was in Greece (on vacation) and couldn’t leave the country for a few days. If you are interested to read more about that click here.

6. I often go through phases and spend most of my saved up money on useless items and end up regretting my purchases. Every. Single. Time.

7. I really like biology, but don’t want to be a doctor so I’m a bit confused ( a lot confused) as to what job I want.
