Winter ways to burn fat !

The following is a list of easy things you can do with your family or friends. So that you don’t feel guilty after indulging some hot cocoa with marshmallows and other fattening desserts (apple pie is one of my favorites:)!

Shoveling Snow: The chore we all hate, one of the worst things about snow but it will give you a hell of a good workout! Feel free to skip your workout if you shovel for longer than 15 min. As it is a great cardio workout but even more so, it will work every single muscle in your upper body!

Snowball fights: Running around in the snow, ducking, jumping and throwing snowballs gives you crazy calorie burn. Approximately 350 calories per hour!

Snowman building: Believe it or not this actually a great exercise! All that bending, rolling snowballs, and lifting can help you burn an extra 300 calories per hour!

Sledding: When going down a hill on your sled, you use many muscle groups such as your core to keep your balance so that you don’t fall (right away at least). Now the part that makes sledding a bit less fun; going back up the hill! Yes, that is the part we all dread when sledding, we spend 10 sec getting down the hill but five minutes getting up the hill. Unfair. But at least we can look on the bright side, going up a hill while holding and sled in the cold = lots of calorie burning! Precisely, around 240 per 30 min!

Skating: Get your skates and get your cardio on! Don’t have skates? Many ice rinks rent out skates for cheap so that everyone can skate when they like! Skating is great cardio but is also great for building glute muscles because you are constantly in a bit of a squat. It even works your core because it has to keep you balanced, so if you are especially clumsy (like me) you will burn even more calories! Always think about the bright side of things!

I hope you enjoy these ideas and remember, always think about the bright side! Even if its dark outside 😉 Also, did anyone else notice that all these activities start with the letter S?

#UltimateVegasOutfit

Hey guys! Today I have a special post for you guys! Its all about VEGAS! It’s 3 posts all put into 1 post!  I created 5 outfits, two for the nighttime and three for the day time. I’m also going to be giving some tips so make sure to also read the info below the pictures! Let’s start with the day outfits first:
Veags
I made the first look a bit more sophisticated and fancy, but still comfortable for doing various things like sightseeing or shopping. By adding the bucket bag, beautiful tan floppy hat, and casual sunglasses I made the look very classy chic, which is one of my favorite styles. The second look is a bit more edgy and casual. The statement piece would be the bodycon skirt but then I made it more casual by tucking in a loose graphic tee and adding cute but simple accessories all in black. The gladiator shoes are really comfortable for walking all day and the black leather backpack is great because you can fit a ton of stuff in it but still look really cute! Next up, a night outfit:
Vegas
For a night out in vegas, I think a patterned body-con dress is great. For this outfit I chose a stunning black and gold dress and then toned it down a bit by making all the accessories black although kept it tied into the gold theme by finding black accesories which have a bit of gold on them as well (example, the gold crown on the clutch). To top the look I added a cape jacket because i think those are really cute, and would be really form fitting combined with the body-con dress. Since the dress is so tight and the cape is so lose, it will make your legs look really thin! I saved the best for last, an outfit that can transition from day to night:
Vegas

For this I decided to use a romper once again because like I said before they are really comfy and versatile. For the day outfit I paired the romper with white keds (which are great for walk for long periods of time) and cute white purse which has black and gold detailing as well (I think you can tell that my color theme for both outfits is black gold and white). I thought it was really important to choose white shoes and a purse because for during the day I don’t like being dressed too dark (especially on those really hot days!) I kept the jewelry very casual, cute, an din the color theme colors and then topped it off with a black floppy hat because it’s great to protect you from the sun and is just that cute! For the night I kept the romper then paired it with white heels and a clutch with a really cool texture. By having the diagonal stripes on the purse and vertical lines on the romper, it creates a very aesthetically appealing look to it. As for the accessories I went with a “rock” theme while staying in my color scheme. I love the necklace because it is the perfect length for the deep v-neck of the romper. Since this is such a chic edgy look, I thought it would look great with mildly messy mid ponytail and the leather hair accessory (just like in the picture above).

I hope guys had as much fun reading this as I had writing this! If you’d like to see where any of these items are check on my polyvore.

Swimsuit Guide- Swimsuit shopping if you have no curves

Summer is nearing so I thought, ” What better posts for the summer than  a swimsuit series?” I’ve decided to make a whole series about which swimsuits are best for which body types, certain body issues, and occasions! This series should hopefully make you feel beautiful in your body no matter what it looks like! Because even though your body is yours, and you should never let anyone judge it, we usually judge ourselves the most. So if your worried that your belly is too big, or that you look too flat, or that your breasts will fall out of your bathing suit, this is the series for you! Over the next few weeks I will be posting several posts about these topics. I hope you enjoy and start loving your body for the way it is by the end of this series!

Do you have the athletic build (also known as the little-boy build), and want to make it seem like you actually have some curves? If that’s you, then keep reading! In case you aren’t sure if that is your build, an athletic build has almost no difference between your waist and hips, you can look at the photo below for reference.

Pic from: liparazzi.blogspot.com

High-waisted bathing suits are great if you want to make your waist seem smaller. Since it covers your top and most of your belly, it directs  the eye to your waist and gives an illusion that its really small.

Look for bathing suits with slits, like the one in the picture below. It works wonders!

Try finding a bathing suit with a belt around the waist, or any embellishment around it.

Bathing suits with curvy lines like the one in the picture below, trick the eye into thinking that you  have curves.

Cinched bathing suits are great for making you look slimmer in general which means they are great for making your waist seem small!

Hope some of this helps!

2015 Swimsuit Guide: Swimsuits best for women with large busts

Even though women with small chests are often envious of big chested women, they don’t know that they also have a difficult time finding the right bathing suits. So today’s post is for women with big chests. Big chests may look good in bikinis but there are several problems that also come with it such as: Chest size is bigger than bottom size, not enough support, nipples literally falling out of the bathing suit. So lets get started with fixing some of these problems.

L.L. Bean one-piece swimsuit

Subtle pattern and shirred waist: A subtle pattern like the one in the photo will keep eyes away from the chest and make you seem super slim because of the shirred waist.

Bra like tops: Full under-wire cups can fit up to a size H and give you the support needed! They are pretty much water-proof bras… Some of them are so pretty and hide the wire completly!

V-necklines: A deep neckline is only something you lucky ladies with large busts can achieve. It looks great and can also have have great support by having under-wire or being a one piece.

Triangle cups: If you felt like your bust is too big to wear triangle cups, there is a simple solution! Find a bathing suit with triangle cups, thick straps, an under-wire and you are ready to go!

Sports bra like bikinis: Want to pl,ay volleyball but you are worried about the jiggle? Well a sporty bathing suit is great for that. Particularly look for one that has straps on your back as well. This will give you extra support and keep your bust from jiggling!

I hope some of these tips help you and remember, everything is a blessing and a curse! For you ladies that are flat chested, check out my previous post that was made for you guys here!

2015 Swimsuit Guide Best places to buy from!

There are so many different places where you purchase swimsuits nowadays so its not too hard to find the perfect bathing suit. Although there are always a few things to take into consideration:

-price: Usually (not always) the bathing suits that cost less are also worse quality. So before you head out to shop, make sure give yourself a budget.

-quality: Like mentioned in the previous point, usually when the price is lower so is the quality. So you have two options ;

1) Buy cheap bathing suits that will only last a year and then you have to buy new ones. This is actually preffered by lots of people(including myself), yes you have to repurchase yearly but then you also get new one’s each year, therefore you can keep up with trends and always change things up.

2)  Splurge on expensive bathing suits which will last you several years. This is good for those bathing suits that never go out of fashion and if you don’t like shopping. This way you spend a lot of money once and then you’re good for the next few years.

-Fit: Always take the fit of the bathing suit into consideration, for example, flat chested people usually don’t have the same type of fit as large chested women. You have to know which fit is the best for your body type! You can learn about that in my next post.

Now that you know all this, decide if you want to repurchase every year or buy once for the next few years to come.

Cheaper Bathing suits:

Forever 21

newlook

alieexpress

charlotte russe

More expensive but good quality brands:

Triangl

Victoria Secret

La vie en Rose

Make sure to follow because the second post of this series is coming out this Friday!
