How to Style Comfy Sweaters! Part 2
Hey guys I hoped you liked Part 1 of this post, this is basically a continuation of that post, I hope you like it!
I don’t know about you, but I certainly have many many days where I wake up in the morning and all I feel is cold. It makes me not want to get out of bed or do anything! Then the thought of putting on a tight or revealing (basically uncomfortable) top to look fashionable makes me feel sick. All i want to do is not wear a bra, be warm and comfortable but still look presentable. On these days my huge comfy and fuzzy sweaters come in handy! I’ve had an obsession with sweaters lately and now they won’t fit in my closet anymore, whoops! Anyways here are a few different ways to style comfy sweaters without looking like you completely gave up on life ( even though you may feel that way inside) ;).
This post is going to made up of several different ootd looks put together but I will also give tips on ideas how to make theses outfits not so boring. You’ll see that they are all very simple, warm, and most importantly comfortable! If you want to see pictures of all my comfy sweaters, keep a look out for my Sweater Collection post coming up very soon!
In this first outfit I am modeling a sweater vest. I find sweter vests to be really cute to make a rgular outfit into something a little bit more polished and business like. I paired it with my leather watch and tight black jeans. I decided to finish the outfit with black riding boots so that I can have a completely black bottom to not take away from the sweater vest and green blouse ensemble.
I will be honest with you guys… I haven’t worn this sweater in a long time. This is because this yellowish-green color is very out of my comfort zone! But I made it my mission to create an outfit with this sweater that I would be willing to wear out, and not only did I complete the mission, but I actually love this outfit and it has become one of my staples! For anyone who has a sweater similar to this that is out of their comfort zone, I suggest you wear it and make that the statement piece of your outfit. This means the rest of your outfit should take to toning down the outfit a notch. In my outfit I paired this bright sweater with a dark wash jean and black uggs, about as simple as it gets! I accessorized this sweater with a turquoise necklace to take full advantage of the colors but depending on your own sweater you may just want to go accessory less.
This is definitely my coziest sweater, it’s made up of the softest material and is a turtle neck, perfect for those freezing days! To keep myself from dressing like my grandpa though, I paired the sweater with a light wash jean and trendy ankle boots to bring some chic into the outfit instead of just a cozy grandpa look! This way I’m extremely comfortable and warm but I look much more put together just because of the shoes!
This would probably be my favourite outfit. Here I am wearing it in the spring time but you can easliy make a few changes to it to make the outfit warmer. Simply unroll the jeans or if you have cufed jeans wear a pair of nice socks over to make a statement and keep your ankles and shins warm, a great example of this is roots wool socks. Also, I wold swap out this green jacket for my winter jacket and voila a winter outfit has formed!
I hope you guys liked these winter looks, watch out for a review on the Glamglow Super mud coming up in the following week!

Sweater: AEO | Leggings: Hyba | Shoes: Ugg
This is one of the simplest outfits but I love it so much! I love pairing leggings with sweaters because they are tight and form fitting which is completely opposite from sweaters. The ugg boots especially tied the whole look together because they are stylish but not very visible at the same time and they do not drag the eye to them, instead the sweater is the statement piece with nothing distracting the eye from it.

Sweater: H&M | Jeans: Urban Behavior | Shoes: Timberland
Here I went for a monochrome look. I paired my biggest black and white sweater with ripped jeans to add some more interest to the outfit. I really feel like the rips at the knee and some edge to the otherwise simple outfit. I finished the look off with matching white and grey socks peaking above my Timberlands. I chose the Timberlands instead one of my black pairs of shoes because I wanted to break up the monochrome a little bit and I find that they also add to the edginess of the outfit.

Sweater: Shrinking Violet | Leggings: Hyba | Shoes: Sorels
This outfit is one that I wear when I truly cannot get out of bed. I like this sweater because it is plain and can be paired with anything but it isn’t just a plain canvas, instead it has these cut-out patterns which automatically give the sweater some interest. I paired it with leggings again and wore my Sorels because they match the color scheme of the outfit perfectly, I especially love how the white fur ties in with the white sweater! Also, I’m not sure if you can tell in the picture but the leggings are more of a heather grey so there are specks of white that once again match the sweater.

Sweater: Shrinking Violet| Jeans: Costa Blanca | Socks: Roots | Scarf: Forever 21 | Shoes: Sorels
Once again, I am wearing the white sweater as above but this time I paired it with jeans. I also accessorized with a burgundy scarf and roots socks peaking from the sorels to add some color to the outfit. I also love wearing my Talula burgundy mits for an even cozier and cute look!
As you guys can see, I love making simple outfits with little touches that add some extra interest or a pop of color to them! Tag me in your pictures if you want me to see some of your cozy sweater outfits!
I didn’t plan on making this a two-part series but it would be too long for only one post so look out for part two with more looks coming up next week!

Last Minutes New Years Outfits Ideas and Inspo
Are you guys excited for New Years?! I know I am, even though I still don’t have any plans haha. But for those of you planning to go to a New Years party and need a last min outfit, here are some ideas!
Right from your closet:
This outfit isn’t as glamorous and sparkly as some may want when going out for New Years but I personally love this outfit! It is an especially great outfit if you are planning to go to a family or close friends party (not clubbing or a crazy rave party).
As you can see this is a great last minute party outfit. It is a black bodycon sweater dress which contours the body amazingly because it is a thick material so it doesn’t make you look too tight or show anything you don’t want to be seen but at the same time it highlights your curves. Also the high neck gives you an appearance of really big boobs even if you are flat chested! Just add on some jewelry ( I went with a gold layered necklace and gold statement watch) and pair it with any shoes. I chose chunky black booties to add some edge but virtually any pair of shoes will go well with this outfit. I didn’t have a fur coat, but if you do this would the perfect outfit to pair it with, so for extra spumf add some fur!

Boxing Day Worth It or Not!?
Hey guys!
It’s your girl Kat and I wanted to start off this post by saying sorry for being MIA for the past 7 months… I will be making a whole new post about why this happened soon! I want to assure you guys that Im going to step back into posting regularly with beautiful pictures (took photography classes) and more helpful tips, ootd’s, and review (hint: GLAMGLOW Supermud! ) For now though I would like to talk about Boxing Day.
This is a bit of a different post than you are probably used to from me. Today I’m going to rant a bit… but not to worry my regular posts are coming back next week! So without further a do>>>
Q: In my opinion is boxing day worth it or not?
A: Today I went boxing day shopping with my girls and I will tell you immediately I was extremely disappointed! And I’m not above saying exactly which shops were the worst. So my day started out with waking up at 6:30 to get to the mall. My friends and I got there exactly when the mall opened and surprisingly the mall wasn’t extremely crowded, parking was basically full but it wasn’t much different than how the mall is on weekends. We went to Forever 21 first and spent around 30 min there… huge mistake! Everything was 21% off so I guess that wasn’t a bad deal but it definitely wasn’t anything great. I bought two sweaters from there(mainly because I had a gift card I wanted to get rid of).
We then decided to trek all the way across the mall to Lululemon because apparently last year they had great sales…well not so much this year. There were literally three racks with items that were priced around 20% off and of course by the time we got there everything in my or any of my friend’s sizes was gone. That’s where my biggest mistake was, we should have gone there before Forever 21. After that we went to a few other stores where all sales were honestly pretty bad.
One store that particularly upset me was Aerie. Their bras were $40 with 50% off whereas usually all year round their bras are $20.. so do the math. Its things like these that sales teams do on days like boxing, they try to trick us by inflating the prices and then slapping a huge discount on it. I mean this inst new news to anyone but still it made me quite upset.
The only good deals I found were at Abercromblie (jeans were only $44) and also Levis had 40% off their jeans which was great. Other than that most stores didn’t have any better prices than usual. Also if you buy more expensive clothes I noticed some good sales in those types of stores, for example Free People was having a 40% off entire store sale which is pretty damn good. Vince Camuto also had huge markdowns that were great.
So while there were a few things that you could buy for less, overall you can see why I was so bummed after shopping all day only to buy a few sweaters, a bra, and a ring. I think that boxing day does not make the prices more expensive or less honestly and personally I hate waking up early on my holiday days and pushing through crowds in a pushy crowd so for me this definitely was not worth it!
Congrats if you read this far!! And if you didn’t that’s ok I probably wouldn’t have either 😉
I live in Toronto and I’d love to hear if you found any good deals here or anywhere else where you live.. maybe I just went to the wrong place! Comment below!!

Beach Basics!
This is something pretty obvious but I cannot stress how important it is to find a bathing suit that you feel comfortable in! Even if it is a bit out of your price range, I strongly suggest you spend a bit more if it means you will feel confident in it! Everyone has their own personal body issues ( for me it’s my small chest) but don’t worry because I have you covered. For a small chest click here, big chest here, for tummy issues here, if you have no curves here, and for affordable bathing suit sites here!
Sunglasses
I love sunglasses so much that last year I had a white line on my nose from where my sunglasses were because I tanned everywhere except there! Although, this year someone brought to my attention that if you don’t buy good quality sunglasses, the lenses may actually be ruining your vision! So unfortunately, I think that most of those cute sunglasses from stores like Forever 21 or H and M aren’t the best for all day wear.
Cute Coverups
I love coverups even more than bathing suits, this is because with coverups you can highlight your best features and hide your worst! Here are a few of my favorite coverups!

Sunscreen!
Last year I really wanted to tan so I put on almost no sunscreen while I was on vacation in Mexico. I know, I’m an idiot! I never really understood how strong the U.V rays really are until I returned home with a bunch of brown spots on my legs. To this day I m still not certain what they were but I think that they were sun spots. Most have disappeared (there are still a few left) but it has taught me a lesson that I will never forget!

OOTD : 4/25/2016
Hey guys! Once again, I have another really simple ootd with a leather jacket! Don’t worry, I promise to change it up a bit next week 😉 Although honestly, I’ve really been loving leather jackets for this weather! They are perfect for the (around) 10 degrees weather when its also a bit windy. This jacket is from Danier, and I strongly suggest you go to the store asap because they just went bankrupt! This sucks for the company, but for us that means huge sales! Everything must go so most things are up to 70% off! Of course, I have horrible luck, so I bought my jacket one week before they declared bankruptcy and paid full price 😦 I hope you guys have better luck and snag up a really good deal! More outfit details below!

Spring 2016 Trends
Spring has finally come! SO today I wanted to share some of the newest trends on the runways, so you can be ahead of the crowd! If you don’t want to go as all out as some of these runway looks, you can always do it in a more subtle way, for some pictures I’ll explain how. For more runway looks you incorporate in your daily style, click here.
Suede
Suede isn’t really a new trend, its been around for the past few seasons, but it still isn’t going anywhere! Especially since festival season is coming up! (Did anyone go to Coachella? Comment Below!)
White shirts
The shirt above is a bit extreme but nonetheless white statement shirts are trending now (then again, when were they not!) I love the runway designers have made this a trend because everyday people can really rock it too!
Spanish Inspired
Thin Pleats
I know what you’re thinking! But no, thick school girl pleats are not back. Instead, designers made very thin and close together pleats-creating a much more elegant look. Almost like regular skirts except with a bit more texture.
Paper bag bottoms
I really love the paper bag waist, this is because it’s very flattering on the body, the pants are usually very comfortable because the bottoms are loose, and they are a lot more unique than other waists that you see on most other trousers and skirts.
Nets
Honestly, I never really liked the net trend. For some reason shirts with holes just didn’t cut it for me! But major designers such as Emillio Pucci (above) and Alexander Wang are really making me re-think it!

Black Leather Jacket OOTD
Hey guys! Today it was a pretty chilly day but I was sick of wearing my thick winter jackets so I was determined to find a way to wear my leather jacket and still be warm! To do this I paired a silky tank top with a really warm black cardigan and then put my leather jacket on top! This kept me pretty warm the entire time I was outside, so from now on I will always be wearing cardigans underneath my leather jacket! What I love about pairing cardigans with a leather jacket is how my arms and hands will be extra warm. In the pictures below, the only place you can see the cardigan is where my hands are but that extra piece of fabric really helped keep my hands warm without wearing gloves. More outfit details are below, Enjoy!
