Trying Out a New Style

I was inspired by Dia & CO, a plus size clothing company, and and their Try-Day-Friday initiative to step out of my safe zone and try something new. I know its extremely difficult sometimes to wear something that doesn’t fit your “usual style”, you feel odd, diffident, and as if everyone is staring and judging you! Well today I have decided to stop thinking about what others may think of me and have created an ootd sporting something I’ve always wanted to try: a boho tank!

I got this item as a gift from  my grandmother and have never worn it because it is quite different from what is “trendy” now. But it is a beautiful design;it is also made out of a beautiful and lightweight fabric, that is perfect for summer!

I decided to wear it out summer casually to the beach one day. I simply paired it with white shorts and flip flops and was ready to go. That’s something that I really love about statement tops, they’re so easy to make outfits with! Since they are the main aspect of the outfit you simply have to wear neutral colors to match and your whole outfit is created, no need for additional accessories!

Hope you guys liked this new look, and that I’ve inspired you to try on something out of your comfort zone! Let’s rock it girls!
