Make-up wishlist

Did you ever have one of those days where you feel like you don’t have anything you want-in this case makeup? You have containers full of eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes, foundations, and more but you still feel like you don’t have anything and what you do have is crap? Well unfortunately, I had one of those days yesterday, so to make myself feel better I decided to make a wishlist of makeup products that I will splurge on eventually. Here they are!

Chanel nail polish in rouge noir: Everyone loves a classic red nail, well this is a red with a twist! Like the name says, it looks black and red- two of my favorite nail polish colors combined into one! It’s a bit dark for the summertime but I think it would be a staple in the wintertime. Also, it reminds me of vampires for some reason, what do you think?

Rouge Infusion Lip Stain by Sephora: I love lip stains because in my opinion they are the longest lasting. This color looks lovely and since its a stain it has no texture so it is great if you have dry lips like I usually do. At $18 it isn’t too expensive so I think ill be purchasing this soon.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: Everyone seems to be raving about this product and I really want to test it out and see if it’s worth the hype.

Clinique Highlighting and Contouring sticks: I still haven’t quite gotten a hang of contouring but these sculpting chubby sticks seem to make everything easier. And there’s no need to buy whole bottles of darker and lighter foundations if you have these.

Naked Smokey Palette: This is the newest Naked Palette and it came out not too long ago. I bought one for my friend’s birthday and now I have to get myself one too. It has beautiful pigmented colors that are great for creating smokey eye looks, well I guess that’s why its called the Smokey Palette!

This list could go on forever so I decided to be realistic and stop it here, if you have any of these products please let me know in the comments if they are as good as everybody raves about them or if they let you down. Thanks!

  3. I think sometimes no matter what we have in our makeup cases we just need something new!! I really want to try the Clinique contour and highlight!! And I have the double wear and while I do like it I wouldn’t reccomend it if you have dry skin or at least without a heavy moisturizer because sometimes it’ll get dry and heavy and you can see it in a bad way! It has amazing coverage though

    • Thanks for the tip about the double wear! And I tried the Clinique contour and highlight a few days ago, and they are amazing! They worked great on my skin tone which is a darker olive color and on my friend that has porcelain skin. So they are really versatile, and look great!

  5. Well, glamour girl. Thank you for the like on my If Unique is What You Seek blog. I love Chanel Number 5. That’s my favorite fragrance, but it’s been years since I’ve seen it. I don’t wear perfumes much these days. Just something light. But do come back and read more of my blogs and I’ll do the same.
